On April 27th, the Iowa Division of Credit Unions held the first Superintendent's Day. The event was co-hosted with the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS). The board forum took place in Des Moines.
This event allowed board members a chance to network with their peers. It also provided opportunities to speak with state and national leaders. The event also provided information on evolving topics affecting the credit union industry.
I’m pleased to host Superintendent’s Day for Board Chairs and Board Members. Building a cohesive network of board leadership and increasing engagement across our state system is essential to the vitality of Iowa’s credit unions said Superintendent Katie Averill.
