Review Board Member Appointments

May 11, 2022

The IDCU Review Board held their 2nd quarterly meeting on April 4, 2022.

The Governor’s office has announced the following newly appointed positions effective May 1, 2022 to the Review Board for a three year term.

  • Jami Weems, term effective May 1, 2022 thru April 30, 2025
  • Jordan Hensley, term effective May 1, 2022 thru April 30, 2025

 

The following currently fill positions on the Credit Union Review Board.

April is Financial Literacy Month

April 14, 2022

In 2004, the U.S. Congress designated April as National Financial Literacy Month, also known as National Financial Capability Month. Each April, Federal and State agencies, credit unions, schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and other entities. Governor Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation on March 31, 2022 to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy education in Iowa.

On behalf of the Iowa Division of Credit Unions, I extend a warm greeting in this new year of 2022. 

Looking back on 2021, the Division has completed many milestones and accomplishments, met challenges, and continued to develop better operating systems to fulfill the Division ‘s mission and meet the needs of Iowans. I’d like to highlight a few things that occurred last year and give you a preview for next year.

June 30, 2022 Call Report Changes Webinar

NCUA is providing a free webinar to provide helpful tips to help credit unions prepare their June 2022 call report changes.  NCUA staff will address the most common questions asked during the March 31, 2022 call report cycle as well as highlighting improvements made for the June cycle.

Participants will be able to log into the webinar and view it on their computers or mobile devices using the registration link. They should allow pop-ups from this website.
