Retirement Mesage from JoAnn Johnson, Superintendent

Date:
Tuesday, May 30, 2017

It has been an honor to serve as your Superintendent of Credit Unions for the last six and a half years.  Being able to work with an industry for which I have great respect and individuals who continually put their members first has been a most rewarding experience.

My official retirement date is Tuesday, May 30, at which time I welcome Katie Averill as the new Superintendent.  Katie comes to the position with ten years of credit union experience, having served as Sr. VP at Citizens Community Credit Union in Ft. Dodge, and having become a Certified Credit Union Executive.  Working together, Katie and I will ensure a smooth transition.

My best to each of you going forward.  I believe the work we have accomplished together has positioned the industry for a vibrant future for all Iowans having access to affordable financial services.

Most sincerely,

JoAnn M. Johnson, Superintendent
